Given that x/y = 2/3, which of the following statements are true?

x is larger than y

y is larger than x.

x/2 = y/3

3x=2y

Since the ratio is 2:3, y must be bigger. Cross multiplying gives 3x = 2y, also dividing each side by 6 leads to x/2 = y/3
